At Whitehouse True Flavors, we pride ourselves on being a simple cafe-bakery offering a true delightful experience in Bangkal Makati; where premium doesn’t have to be expensive.
Our Origin Story
Most cafes chase trends. We chase perfection.
We started with just four cakes. That’s it. No grand opening, no marketing budget, no investor backing. Just a belief that if we made something worth coming back for, the rest would follow; a conviction that good food doesn’t need gimmicks.
What began in 2022 as a trial online bakery has grown into a neighborhood cafe in March of 2024. It’s a place where regulars know their order by heart and new faces discovers Whitehouse through word of mouth. No, we’re not in the best location—parking is tight, no foot traffic, and you won’t stumble upon us by accident. But the people who find us tend to come back.
Our menu is simple by design: cakes, coffee, sourdough bagels & pizza, coffee, banana bread, and cookies. Seven things, done right. No trends, no shortcuts, just consistent craft, each one engineered for consistency and depth. We hand-roll every bagel, ferment our dough for days, and refine and spice up each recipe until it’s something we’d want to eat ourselves.
We’re a small team—a former grocery cashier who now calibrates our coffee, a McDonald’s line cook who became our apprentice baker, and a CPA founder and an IT founder who learned everything through Youtube, trial, error, and a lot of spreadsheets. We believe good food comes from obsessive attention to detail, not pedigree.
If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy cafes, we’re probably not your place. But if you want a place that feels true and unpretentious, and want food made by people who care more about what it tastes like than what it looks like, we’ll see you soon.
